Hi all! As promised, here are some of the pictures taken during my simple birthday celebration (a day before my actual bday) held in our home with family and some close friends. It was super special day for me because all my loved ones are present especially my Dad who came all the way from our home in Laguna. Thanks Papa!

On my actual birthday, we celebrated the first birthday of my co-celebrant,our cute, adorable niece, Chloe. We're all excited about her birthday and we made sure that we contribute to this milestone in her young life. Hubby and I took care of the birthday cake :) Birthday theme is Nemo/Under the Sea.

It was a super fun party. The kids (and adults too!) had a blast! They enjoyed the games prepared by my SIL and the food karts which we got from Yanple. By the way the cake, cupcakes and lollies were from Sweets and Cakes. Super thanks to Joyce for accomodating our order (it's Holy Week na kasi eh) and our budget too! Good job Joyce! Chloe had so many gifts that day! Lucky Girl!

As for me, I got wonderful pressies from my loved ones and friends. Among them is a blessed Rosary from the Vatican which i'm super happy to have. Special thanks to our good friends, Malou & Charlie. I have to mention also the food given by my titos & titas especially the Sansrival from Betty's. I so love this! And it was a hit! Ubos agad! Also, the GC's my siblings gave me. I was so excited when I received it. I was able to buy a lot of things, one of which is the 2-Disc Special Edition Twilight DVD! Thanks kiddos! :) And lastly, how can I forget hubby's early birthday pressie.... my new phone!

Thanks so much Hunny!

Oopss! I have a confession to make. I also "gifted" my self with a gift. Actually, this is unexpected and not on my plans but I thought that I deserved it because I have been working so hard for the past year. I found the perfect opportunity to have another "baby" added to my growing "family" through my good friend, J, who was kind enough to get this from me in Milan and brought it all the way home. So, here it is. My newest baby....

LV Monogram Neverfull MM

Thanks Mare for bringing my baby all the way from Europe. Hay naku! I'm officially on purse ban after this talaga! Stop muna promise! :)

My new LVoe.....

.... is my new Damier Speedy 35.

Just a little kwento about this new baby:

Just like Jacqui's kwento here, hubby ask me to go with him in Greenbelt 4 to pick up my Christmas pressy. He's been teasing me since November pa yata about my gift. Ako naman, kunyari di excited, lol. Anyways, we went there in the afternoon of Dec. 24. By the time we got there, ang daming tao. As in. I read in one blog post (i dont remember where na eh sorry), how crowded the LV store in GB4 nowadays and mukhang tiangge. We were also there a week before and di pa naman masyado crowded, but since its the day before Christmas, dami talagang tao. Honestly, I wasn't really happy with the service of the SA's that day maybe because they're really tired na. It took us maybe about 30 minutes to find a very nice available SA named MIKA to assist us. She apologizes for not attending to us immediately and gladly helped us with our choice. I'm really keen on getting the Damier Speedy since it's low maintenance compared to the monogram (but I would like to get the monogram one day too :)) It's either that or the Neverfull Monogram. However, hubby like the speedy better so speedy it is. Originally, I chose the Speedy 30 since I thought it would best suit my needs. So, I asked Mika to get me a new stock. But, out of the blue, I also ask her to get the Speedy 35 for comparison. I tried both and the three of us (Mika, hubby and me) all agreed that the 35 looks better on me. I was surprised because I thought the 35 is too big for my frame but when I looked at the mirror, the 35 wasn't really bad din pala. Plus, there's more room for my stuff hehehe. I remember my friend Malou once told me to get the 35 instead since she finds the 30 too small for our stuff. Anyway, we finally decided on the 35 and I couldn't be more happier with my decision. Another bonus if I may add pala, I guess it was my lucky day that time, the stock Mika got for me already have a padlock inside! Yey! We're both surprised to find out because she informed me before getting the new stock that there's no available padlock and she will just call me once it's already available. I was so lucky daw she keep on telling me. I just smiled, hehehe. Oh by the way, we saw two celebrities also buying an LV. Nikki Gil and Billy C. Siguro sila nga :)

When we left the boutique, it's almost dark na so we hurried back home since we will hear mass at 8pm. I'm one happy baghag :)

P.S. Just after leaving LV, I made a short trip to the nearby Gucci store and almost bought a nice bag at 15% OFF! Buti na lang nagmamadali kami at di ako nagpadala sa emotions ko hehehe. Maybe next time...

It's almost Christmas!

... and i'm not even finished with my list! Oh well, I only have two more gifts left to buy so I guess, it's no really that bad, lol. I'm off to the mall this morning to buy the pressies and some cakes from Conti's for our Noche Buena party at my in-laws later tonight. Hope I will be able to grab Mango Bravo this morning because last night when I checked the store in Trinoma its already sold out and I was asked to come back today at 7 in the morning! Gawd! ang aga naman! The cakes are really selling so fast! So I better go there early.

I'm also preparing our stuff to bring home tomorrow, Christmas Day, to Santa Cruz, Laguna. Hay.. dala ko na naman ang buong bahay namin! As my siblings and tita's always said :) I'll be spending a few days there after Christmas too bad hubby has to go back to Manila on the 26th because of work.

Anyways, i'll try to blog later about my christmas pressies to friends and family as this has been occupying most of my time these past few days. Later in the afternoon, I together with hubby, will troop to G4 to that famous store for my Christmas present daw! To all you baghags out there, you know what I mean :)

I'm just too excited! Can't wait! LVoe it!!!

Wishing you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Hope you'll have a blast on this wonderful season with your loved ones. Greetings from Al and Jesse Pega of Quezon City.

Oh my gosh! I think I would faint if I ever receive one of these orange boxes! Vlad of the Purseblog.com is the proud owner of these boxes from Hermes NYC. They're not revealing yet the contents as they are keeping this as a surprise. Can't wait, can't wait to see this!!! I'll post the contents once these boxes were opened!

Also from purseblog, the Louis Vuitton MOCA Line (Museum of Contemporary art).

It's a neverfull bag with the Murakami print. This is actually the latest collaboration with Takashi Murakami of the famed Cherry Blossom and Multicolore line among others. This was launched at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) where Murakami had an exhibit. Before you think of getting one though, this line is not available in every LV store. In fact, it's a limited edition line rumored to have limited pieces available. The agenda on the otherhand looks cute with the "little mushroom" character named Chibi Kinoko. Isn't the cutest? :) I think it's a nice variation from the plain one. But choosing between the plain Neverfull and Murakami Neverfull, i'll still settle for the former. So, what do you baghags think of the Murakami Neverfull?

We baghags know that finding the bag of our dreams is like finding your soulmate. O.A. ba? But it's true right? Nothing beats the feeling of having that "BAG". However, finding the "one" is not that easy. In the case of LV, you have to at least be listed at the store's super looong waitlist just to have the chance to buy the bag of your choice. There's no guarantee when you will have it. You just have to patiently wait, pips. That's why, it's good to know that there are baghags out there, like my multiply business contact, the lv lady.

You see, the lv lady is a true blue baghag who sells brand new and second hand authentic designer bags. It's 100% guaranteed authentic so you don't have to worry about knock-offs. Besides, she carries a lot of styles some are even no longer available in the stores or better yet, new styles that are not yet available in the boutiques. Last time I checked the site, she has the LV Mini Lin Speedy that Jody's crazy about. So, to baghags out there, check out this site. Who knows, you might find your "dream" bags here.

Oh btw, my favorite baghag, Mrs. T, also has a website that offers second hand designer bags. Check out also www.tresormakati.com. Her collection is to die for!

LV Monogram Mahina XL

Just saw this new bag from LV Greenbelt 4 at thebaghag's site and I instantly fell in love with it!!

I have always admired Mrs.T's taste when it comes to bag and this new bag of hers is definitely one of the best! Mrs. T, congrats on your new purchase. You're right about this bag. The size can definitely hold all your stuff that's why I love it too! I prefer big size bags so I can put all my "trash" inside, lol. Anyways, this bag according to Mrs. T, is made of soft leather and the color is very easy to match with. Drawback, I think, is the bag's appearance when it is not full because of its super soft leather material, the bag may not "stand" up alone like the other LV bags. Oh well, I still love it and I will definitely add this to my wishlist. Thanks Mrs. T for showing this :)

My TOP 5 LV Bags

I feel that I have to at least make a post on bags at least once a week as i have self-declared myself to be a baghag. So as a true baghag (a wannabe, if I may add to that).. here goes my top five Louis Vuitton bags that have been "haunting" me for the past months.

1. First on my list is the NEVERFULL PM:
First time I saw this bag on thebaghag's blog, I immediately fell soooo in love with it!! That's why on our trip to Singapore last June, I never failed to catch a glimpse of this beauty at LV's Ngee Ann store as this was not yet available here in Greenbelt that time. Would you believe? I have to fall in line outside the store just to get a look at this bag! There's this policy in SG that they do not allow customers to come in if there are too many customers inside already! You have to wait for your turn and pray that the customers inside will go out na so that you can come in. My Gawd! I haven't experience that here except maybe during Sale season. This bag is just for me. It's big enough to carry all my stuff, it has a beatiful lining that can be reversed though I dont think i'll do that if ever i'll got one, and I love the shape!. One downside maybe is the thin strap of the bag. But nevertheless, I soo love it!

2. The Speedy 30
This bag is one of the iconic bag of LV. It's been around for some time now but I've seen it still carried by baghags. It's a classic and you can never go out of style with one. I also love the speedy in damier azur! aylavit!

3. The Vernis Bedford
I love the Vernis line especially the Bedford. It's like the Monogram Papillon but this one is better! I love the color!

4. The Epi Alma
I'm not really a fan of the Epi line. Well coz it doesn't show much the "monogram logo" (i'm such a brand person he he he). But the Alma is an exemption :)

5. The Damier Azur Keepall 50
I know this is a "travel" bag but I would love to have one. I love travelling and I would love to be seen carrying this stylish luggage while roaming around the airports :)

So, there goes my "wishlist". Such eye candies! For your info, I'm still saving up for my first LV and I hope to get one ASAP! :)
