Hi everyone!

How's everybody doing? I know I have been neglecting my blog "duties" but I have so much work to do in the office... hay... kakapagod talaga. Much as I want to blog every night, my body would not cooperate as I was too tired from a hard day full of meetings, turn-overs and adjusting to a new office environment.

Anyways, last weekend hubby and I hit the malls, SM North Edsa (it's 3-day sale there!) and Trinoma. From the sale, I was able to snag 3 tops from Giordano and 2 from Chocolate Clothing Company. From Trinoma naman, I was able to convince hubby to get me that Kenneth Cole Bag i've been eyeing for quite some time now. So, I went home very happy with my loots plus extra bonus the bag I got from Kenneth Cole. I'm one happy baghag *wink* *wink*.

Tomorrow, i'll be on leave. It's my BIL and his lovely fiancee, R's wedding and i'll stand in for one of the ninang who can't make it tomorrow. We're all excited for tomorrow's event. We all know how hard the couple prepared for this special day and we're just so happy for them. TO R & R, Best Wishes and COngratulations!! We love you both :)

Net-a-Porter on Sale

I got an email from net-a-porter.com informing me of their ongoing online sale. So, the shopaholic in me wanted to find out what's in store for sale addicts like me haha so I immediately browse through their site. But, I will just window shop peeps! Even if they're on sale, I still CANNOT afford them anyways! I'm just a poor hag, lol!

Anyways, I saw wonderful stuff from the collection and if only I have the moolah, I will definitely place my order. Here are some of the items on my *wish* shopping bag:

Bottega Venetta Intrecciato hobo bag

A signature Bottega Veneta woven leather piece in a slouchy hobo shape which will hold all you could possibly need for the day. I love the yellow butter color and the fact that it's an intrecciato, the leather would feel soft just like any other bag from this line. Priced at £1,880 Now £1,316 (do your own conversion, hehe)

Jimmy Choo Ramona patent bag This bag is from the popular Ramona line updated in a fresh white patent style for cruise. A great all day bag too and sits snugly on the shoulder. Love it! Was £1,100 Now £550

Marc Jacobs East West Patent Tote I've always loved patent bag and this one I likey likey. A stunning bag from Marc Jacobs which is ideal for a high-low day look. Was £980 Now £490

Miu Miu Washed Leather Tote Super love the pastel pink color. This bag is perfect for the lady-like, prim & proper type like me hahaha. Anyways, this washed leather Miu Miu style is a perfect size for day and a perfect hue for spring. Was £720 Now £432

Fendi Matrioska Large Tote Now this one is so neverfull/st. louis from every angle. A great everyday bag just like the two originals. Though I find it too pricey, dont you think? Was £320 Now £192

So there. These are just in my *wish* shopping bag. It will never be in my "real" shopping list at the moment but doing this online *wish* shopping really makes me feel relax after a long tiring day at work.

I'm off to a movie date with hubby and friends tonight in Greenbelt. Hay... I really love FRIDAY! TGIF!

Have a nice weekend everyone :)

powerplant mall sale

Hi everyone! So, how's your weekend? Mine was busy as always.

Last Saturday, we attended the wedding of my office mate and good friend, Leo in Sta. Rita, Pampanga. It was a nice wedding and the couple prepared a very entertaining dance number for their first dance! It was a hit and everybody loved it! Also, hubby is one of the principal sponsor (his first) but he's not that old, mind you ha?

Last Sunday, we were able to catch the last day sale of the Powerplant Mall-wide sale. I wasn't aware of this and it was hubby who told me about it since he had lunch there last friday with his boss. So, off we go to Rockwell on a lazy sunday afternoon hoping to find some "good" stuff (read "on sale items", lol). When we got there, the mall is already full-packed! I saw quite a lot of nice items from Mango and Lacoste but decided to just come back later to check out other stores. We got caught up in Zara, the place is jampacked! We spent around an hour there yata. Sobrang dami ng tao! Hubby was able to score nice polos for work and I only got a pair of trousers and sweat pants! Jeez! Anyways, we hear mass right after and then proceeded to Tyler. Glad I went there! I was able to snag a nice leather tote in coffee color (i'm loving it right now!) and an office jacket. Had dinner at Dulcinea after (we wanted to try out Pepper Lunch sana but the line's just too long for me!)and then went home tired but happy with my loot :)

Btw, all my loot is courtesy of my hubby! thanks hunny!

pink eye candy

If money is not an issue, I would love to have this....

Prada Frills Napa Tote

It comes in two colors: black and light pink (shown above). Price at $ 1,495 in Neiman Marcus. This style is quite in demand nowadays as you can not order more than three (3) pieces in thirty days. Whew! Talk about high demand! If I have the money for this, I will definitely have my name listed in the order list. It would be the perfect match to my newly bought ZARA pumps in the same color :)

Busy, busy Saturday

I had a very interesting day yesterday. After my visit to the hospital for my scheduled xray and my failed visit to my urologist (because the results of my xray will not be available until monday), hubby and I decided to check out the on-going sale at ROBINSON'S GALLERIA. Surprisingly, the mall is not that packed with shoppers. Maybe we're just used to the crowd during sale season at SM malls wherein people are "bumper-to-bumper". I've always love going to a Robinson's sale. It's not too crowded and in fairness, the items on sale are pretty good. In fact, I was able to snag a few items which I am totally loving right now. Good thing my hubby was in shopping mode that time so I was able to make "hirit" for these items....

A nice satchel bag from Nine West (not on sale though, new arrival kase) and cutie pair of Lacoste shoes (@ 30% off!) Not Bad, eh?

After a very tiring shopping time at the mall (by the way, hubby got himself a pair of Lacoste shoes too and some items to add to his wardrobe), we had a quick merienda at Figaro and then proceeded to get a much deserved massage at Pinnacle Spa in Scout area. We are frequenting this spa lately because the rates there are so affordable and the facilities are very nice. Although, this gyma and health spa has been around for quite some time now, the place is well-maintained hence it's still nice to go there for some R and R. We had a blast there and really enjoyed our massages. After that, we had a quick dinner of Tapas and went home feeling relax after a long day. Good times.

My officemates and I scheduled a visit to Camp Suki in New Manila to check out if they have costumes there that we can rent for our company party on Dec. 19. Camp Suki is known for themed-parties costume rentals so we decided to check it out. We met in Starbucks Emerald and immediately proceeded to Galleria to fetch our GM and HR Manager who'll be joining us in this "search". We got there around 2 in the afternoon and boy! were we surprised to see plenty of people already browsing through the racks of Camp Suki! And dami pala may costume-themed parties ngayon. Well, it's not a surprise anymore since a lot of companies are having their Christmas Parties in the next two weeks. So we began our search immediately. Our boss got her costume in less than 15 minutes would you believed!?. That's because she came prepared and already knew what she's looking for. Unlike us, who are still undecided as to what are we going to be, lol. Anyways, i'll be playing the role of the Snowqueen from the movie Narnia so I started looking for a white gown. Unluckily for me, I haven't found any :( I tried some gowns but it won't fit me ha ha ha. Most of us left the place empty-handed. Hay! So hard to find a costume talaga. i hope you guys could help where to get one. You're inputs/ideas will be highly appreciated.

Anyways, after that, some of us went to Metrowalk to grab a snack since we're quite hungry na. There's going to be a party later on in Metrowalk so we decided to leave na rin after having coffee in Starbucks since te place would be crowded in a little while. My officemate dropped me off Shangri-la Mall since i'll be meeting my hubby there to buy some gifts for my friend Joy's baby boy who will be baptized this sunday. I also plan to buy a christmas gift na rin for Joy's eldest who happens to be my "inaanak". I went to Rustan's and as expected it's jampacked with shoppers na rin! I've always enjoyed shopping in Rustan's. I love their service and the free gift wrapping services they provide to their clients. The downside to this lang is the long line at every gift wrapping counter. As in you they are supperrr long!! if you want your gift to be gift wrapped by them, there's a chance that you'll get your wrapped gift the following day na! I swear! For the two items that I bought (one has very big box!), I ask the sales assitant to have it wrapped for me pa rin kasi they'll be open till midnight so I hoped that my items will still be accomodated even if I have to wait that long. Well, I was wrong! The SA came back with only one gift wrapped since it was only placed inside the paper bag (my gift for the baby) and unfortunately, for my inaanak's gift (which has the big bos), they said that i'll be able to get it by tomorrow na. Hello?! I need it na by that time. So I just asked for the wrappers, ribbons and tags and told them i'll wrapped it myself even if I don't have any idea how am I going to do it, tehee. We just had dinner afterwards and went home na rin as I have to figure out pa how am I going to wrapped this big box he he he..

Went I got home, I started immediately and it wasn't that bad pala after all. Actually, gift wrapping is something that I look forward to every christmas. I enjoyed doing it a lot that I remember one time, I planned on putting up a gift wrapping business. I might consider it din in the future. I just have to keep my fingers crossed he he he. Anyways, here is my finish product. What do you think? Can I pass na ba? :)

panic mode

Have you seen my christmas countdown? It's barely a month to go before Christmas and I haven't even started with my christmas shopping! Well, one reason would be because I haven't got my 13th month pay yet he he he. But at least I should have made my christmas list already. Problem is I haven't! And i'm starting to panic na! I'm super busy at work and looks like the trend will be pretty much the same till the yearend. I'm just worried lang I might cram na if I haven't started yet with my shopping. Oh well, as the old saying goes "if there's a will there'a a way" so I need to find the time to sit down and list down all the people and loved ones that I need to buy gifts for. Before it's too late! I hope to accomplish this by this weekend. So, wish me luck guys!

OMG!!! Finally, the long wait is over! My fave brand Kiehl's finally opens in Greenbelt 5. I thought this will never gonna happen since news about the store not opening here in manila starts spreading like fire. Thanks to the fashpack I learned that Kiehl's finally opened! Yes, it was through thefashpack's blog that i learned about this great, great news. I wasn't invited in the launching, people. Sad to say, i'm not a VIP to ever deseve an invite from them, lol. Anyways, i'll definitely schedule a visit soon to G5. I hope i'll never get lost on my way there since most of the guests i heard were frustrated since there were no directions on how to get to this new mall, tsk, tsk.. I'm so happy because Kiehl's already available here. Now, it won't be a problem buying my fave products, lip balm #1 (my tube is almost consumed na) and creme de corps. I only got to buy Kiehl's products when I go abroad. So, this is great news to me :)

I learned it's a cute tiny store. Here's a pic courtesy of thefashpack:
