Finally! Naka-blog din! Whew!

I've been super busy (and still super dooper busy!) that i've kind of "neglected" my blog. For that i'm truly sorry :( *sos sobs sobs * Anyway, nothing major happened except that my work has been occupying most of my time and when it was time for me to blog, I just can't do it because i'm dead tired during the day. I also have been quite sickly nowadays, will tell you more about it in my next posts. For now, I felt that I need to do some updates because i'm afriad you pips might forget about me na hehehe!

And I thought that the best way for making a "blog comeback" is by doing this very interesting tag from Marie. Oh.. I remember I was tagged by MM before with this but never had the chance to do it. So sorry MM, i'll make "bawi" the next time :)

I was carrying my blue jean Fino doctor's bag. I got this many, many years ago pa. I think it was my birthday when I bought it as I gift for myself. Price at that time around 5K++. I got it on sale.



Here's what inside my bag. I carry a big bag always because I have a lot of stuff! I'm no light packer!

My daily "abubots": two cellphones, my iPod Touch, a book (a staple in my bag), my trusty old Lacoste perforated wallet, my Coach wristlet (very handy for lunch outs), make-up kit with the ff. inside: i.d. Mineral Foundations and applicator, Nars Blush, Shisheido two-way foundation and lipstick, Kiehl's tinted Lip Balm, Shu Uemura eye lash curler, M&S hand lotion and ACCA Kappa Brush, a notebook, my company I.D. and mints.

Not in the picture (which i'm too shy to show hahaha) are the "kalats" - receipts, tissues, billings, etc. And also, I carry around a mini-medicine kit for emergencies.

Hi everyone! How's everybody?

As always, i'm super busy with work. As in! I've never been this tired in my whole career life! Minsan gusto ko na mag-give up but I just think of the current economic crisis and the HUGE number of people being laid off from work around the globe and even here in our country. Maswerte pa rin tayo we still have our jobs. I pray to GOd that this will be over soon :(

Anyways, I had a meeting with my new boss and I was super tired the whole day today (not to mention the stress i've been going through during the past two weeks due to a certain "incident" which I cannot diclose at the moment due to some "legalities") so I felt that I need to reward myself with this one.....

Just a little kwento about this new baby:

Just like Jacqui's kwento here, hubby ask me to go with him in Greenbelt 4 to pick up my Christmas pressy. He's been teasing me since November pa yata about my gift. Ako naman, kunyari di excited, lol. Anyways, we went there in the afternoon of Dec. 24. By the time we got there, ang daming tao. As in. I read in one blog post (i dont remember where na eh sorry), how crowded the LV store in GB4 nowadays and mukhang tiangge. We were also there a week before and di pa naman masyado crowded, but since its the day before Christmas, dami talagang tao. Honestly, I wasn't really happy with the service of the SA's that day maybe because they're really tired na. It took us maybe about 30 minutes to find a very nice available SA named MIKA to assist us. She apologizes for not attending to us immediately and gladly helped us with our choice. I'm really keen on getting the Damier Speedy since it's low maintenance compared to the monogram (but I would like to get the monogram one day too :)) It's either that or the Neverfull Monogram. However, hubby like the speedy better so speedy it is. Originally, I chose the Speedy 30 since I thought it would best suit my needs. So, I asked Mika to get me a new stock. But, out of the blue, I also ask her to get the Speedy 35 for comparison. I tried both and the three of us (Mika, hubby and me) all agreed that the 35 looks better on me. I was surprised because I thought the 35 is too big for my frame but when I looked at the mirror, the 35 wasn't really bad din pala. Plus, there's more room for my stuff hehehe. I remember my friend Malou once told me to get the 35 instead since she finds the 30 too small for our stuff. Anyway, we finally decided on the 35 and I couldn't be more happier with my decision. Another bonus if I may add pala, I guess it was my lucky day that time, the stock Mika got for me already have a padlock inside! Yey! We're both surprised to find out because she informed me before getting the new stock that there's no available padlock and she will just call me once it's already available. I was so lucky daw she keep on telling me. I just smiled, hehehe. Oh by the way, we saw two celebrities also buying an LV. Nikki Gil and Billy C. Siguro sila nga :)

When we left the boutique, it's almost dark na so we hurried back home since we will hear mass at 8pm. I'm one happy baghag :)

P.S. Just after leaving LV, I made a short trip to the nearby Gucci store and almost bought a nice bag at 15% OFF! Buti na lang nagmamadali kami at di ako nagpadala sa emotions ko hehehe. Maybe next time...

... and i'm not even finished with my list! Oh well, I only have two more gifts left to buy so I guess, it's no really that bad, lol. I'm off to the mall this morning to buy the pressies and some cakes from Conti's for our Noche Buena party at my in-laws later tonight. Hope I will be able to grab Mango Bravo this morning because last night when I checked the store in Trinoma its already sold out and I was asked to come back today at 7 in the morning! Gawd! ang aga naman! The cakes are really selling so fast! So I better go there early.

I'm also preparing our stuff to bring home tomorrow, Christmas Day, to Santa Cruz, Laguna. Hay.. dala ko na naman ang buong bahay namin! As my siblings and tita's always said :) I'll be spending a few days there after Christmas too bad hubby has to go back to Manila on the 26th because of work.

Anyways, i'll try to blog later about my christmas pressies to friends and family as this has been occupying most of my time these past few days. Later in the afternoon, I together with hubby, will troop to G4 to that famous store for my Christmas present daw! To all you baghags out there, you know what I mean :)

That's my current state right now. I know i've been kind of neglecting this blog lately. But my schedule is so full with work, family activities, errands, and lately, some "pasundot-sundot" shoppping for the coming holidays. I can not afford to shop full blast because i'm just too tired to do it after work. Last weekend was filled with trips to the mall with my family. Plus, my Dad's staying with me this week so my hands are quite full right now attending to his needs and going to work and braving the traffic every morning! Traffic is just terrible! Well, it's quite expected especially since Christmas is just around the corner. Talk about Christmas Rush! But I love it. Honestly. Christmas here in the Philippines won't be the same without it.

I'm barely done with my Christmas shopping. In fact, I feel that I haven't started at all with my Christmas List. But at least, I already have my list which I was only able to complete (at least) this weekend. Hay... I'm pretty sure i'll cram in the coming days. You bet I will!

Hope everybody's doing okay. Will try to update my blog more frequently.

Anyways, its the second day of December and I can almost smell Christmas! I'm quite excited! Why? Basta. We'll post about it soon pag sure na ako, lol. Clue: it has something to do with my "possible" Christmas pressies from hubby :)

Hello there! Sorry if I wasn't able to update this blog for the past days because i've been pre-occupied with a lot of things lately, mostly work related. Anyhow, let me just share some pictures last weekend:

We had a fun Halloween Costume Party last Oct. 31. I dressed up as the "Snow Queen" hehehe while my siblings, cousins and even some of my titos and titas were in their best costumes like cleopatra, dracula, monster, the joker, witch, scary preggy lady, carlito (the wrestler), sailor moon, fairy and many more. We had a blast so we decided for another costume party this time on New Year's eve! Here are some of our crazy pictures:



We weren't able to go to visit my mom's tomb last Nov. 1 due to heavy rains. My Dad was trying to convince us to go even in the afternoon but we told him huwag na lang muna because mahihirapan lang siya. I told him we'll just go on Nov. 2 instead. But my brothers together with some of my cousins and relatives went to check on my mom's and grandparents tomb to bring flowers and light candles. So, on Nov.2 after hearing mass, we all trooped to the memorial park and said our prayers to our beloved departed loved ones:

Has anyone seen the La Diva performance during GMA's "Experience GMA" show last Sunday Oct. 26? It was my first time to see these girls perform and boy! was I surprised to find out they sing very, very well! Love their voices especially the blending. Galing! Plus the songs they sang were all my favorites (Sometime, Somewhere, Never Say Goodbye and this song that i've been wanting to know the lyrics ever since I heard it sang by a singer, Now that you're gone). Anyone who knows the lyrics of Now that you're gone and who sang the original please, please give me a copy and let me know. I fell in love with the song just like I did when I first heard Sometime, Somewhere. All I know is that is an OPM song but I can't find out who the original singer is. La Diva on Experience GMA..

I'm off to Laguna tomorrow morning with my siblings. Hubby will follow on Saturday because he still has to work tomorrow. I, on the other hand, took the day off so I can go home early in time for our annual Halloween Party. I haven't been able to attend this for many years now since I got married so I asked hubby if I can go ahead of him and he said yes! I'm so excited. Will post about it over the weekend.

I'm also very excited to visit my departed loved ones in the cemetery - my mama, lolo and lola. These people were all very important to me and I will never ever forget them. I have so many happy moments with them while they we're still alive. And for that, I will be forever grateful to God for having these wonderful people in my life even if they already has passed on to a better life.
