Hi All!
It's been quite a while since my last post. Please forgive me for not giving you much attention these days as I had a very busy schedule last weekend (it's my hubby's bday that's why, will post about it later) and I was out on field the whole time yesterday. When I checked my site last night, wow! i've been tagged many times. Was so happy!! Thanks, thanks girls!
So here are some of it :)

Woohoo!! I'm a certified star blogger! Thanks Eds for this award. It surely made my day :)
Now, i'm passing this award to Mich, Jane, Jody & Jacqui.
Labels: award
Thanks Jacqui for this tag! Oh my, where do I begin?!
1. SINIGANG NA BABOY - whenever I feel tired and stressed out from work, my husband would always ask our maid to cook sinigang for me. He knows that any amount of tiredness in my body will vanish once I started eating my fave food. Actually, I taught our maid how to cook this meal based from the recipe of my late mom. So you can say that this meal is somewhat important to me coz it reminds me of my mom and her excellent cooking skills.
2. SOPAS (Chicken Macaroni Soup)- another recipe from my mom's. I super dooper love this food. I want it with more milk, shredded chicken and macaronis. Sometimes we add Tj hotdogs on it and we sometimes use spaghetti noodles. This is heaven!
3. PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY HOTDOG - Yes! It's my favorite too!! I can tell if it's not
purefoods, mind you! Only purefoods for my hotdogs. it's my husband's favorite too. When doing our groceries, we never fail to get a kilo or more of this. Takaw ba? :)
4. CHOCOLATES - need I say more? Basta. I.LOVE.CHOCOLATES. PERIOD :)
5. CAKES & ICE CREAM - my personal favorites would be FIC's cappuccino, Nestle's MOCHA, Red Ribbon's Honey Cake & Conti's Mango Bravo!
I'm now tagging Kathy,Vina, Eds and Marie to share their comfort foods :)

This tag I got from Eds. Thanks sis! :)
Her question# 1: "When did you start blogging and why?"
I started blogging unofficially since last year from my friendster account. It was an "on & off" thing back then. I wasn't regularly updating my blog and sometimes, I would post one entry per month lang. Then, I chanced upon knowing Mrs. T's blogsite. I got hooked! As in everyday, I look forward to reading her daily adventures and I Love it!
Since then, I got to know more about blogging especially paid blogging. So, last September of this year, I began my again "love affair" with blogging this time with blogger. I learned about paid posts through the help of my fellow bloggie and my "idol" when it comes to blogging, Jane :) I'm super hooked! Never a day has passed by without me checking my blogsite and my other favorite bloggers.
Thanks Mrs. T & Jane for the inspiration! :)
Her question# 2: "What do you address your spouse as endearment and why?
We call each other "hunny" from the Winnie the pooh cartoon series. Since "honey" is a common term of endearment na, we chose to use this word instead for a litle variety :) I also have a winnie stuff toy, the one where winnie is holding a jar of "hunny". That's where we actually get the idea of using that word.
Her question # 3 : " Who's Blog do you admire most & why? "
Of course it would be Mrs. T's for her wit and detailed account of her charmed life especially her travels and food trips and most especially, her bag purchases and review. I love it!
Now, for my question, what is your favorite T.V. series (filipino or american, old or new) and why?
Care to answer, ricca, jen, jean, sheila & juliana?

Hay.. my much-awaited belle de jour power planner is not yet available. I'm about to pick it up from the BDJ team in Coffee Bean Galleria yesterday but they postponed last minute since according to them, they had encountered some printing problem and they had to bring back the planners to the printer to correct it. So, they ask for another day which is today but got a text again from them saying that they are still making corrections and the planner won't be available still. This time no definite date or time has been given. Well, I guess I just have to wait na lang:( I'm just so excited to have this planner. But anyway, they will be giving another 5% discount due to the delay. Fair enough :)

A friend of mine plans to go abroad to work. With the current political and economic situation the country is facing right now, many filipinos are now contemplating on finding greener pastures abroad. That's the same reason why my friend wanted to push through with her plan. But one thing that's keeping her from doing so is again... finances. You see, going abroad requires quite a sum of money too. That's why I recommended to her this website that offers payday loans. In paydayloanquotes, applying for a loan is as easy as 1-2-3. It's a faxless payday loan that allows you to file an application without the hassle of submitting numerous documents that sometimes discourages loan applicants to file for one. All you need to do is complete a one page online application form, the site will find the lender that matches your qualifications and get approval fast and easy. Payday loans can range from $100 to $1,500. The lender will determine the loan amount based on the information you provide during the application process. Even the proceeds of the loan approved will be directly deposited to your account from the lender. What's more, you get to choose among many payment term options that will best suit your paying capacity. And again the best part of all is that it's a no fax payday loan, so it's a hassle-free guaranteed process.

I was finally able to convince my husband to allow me to drive by my own. After five years of being together, he finally had the courage to let me go and do my own driving. With this development, I need a new car for me since my husband won't allow me to practice on his SUV, lol. So this early, I am now searching for the best car in town that would fit into our budget. I've been eyeing Honda cars lately since I like their compact styling, efficiency and affordability. Good thing there's carsbldvd.com which will help me in finding the right car with the right price. You see, at carsblvd.com, you can get Honda Car Quotes fast and free! You'll never pay full price for a new car. You will receive a minimum of 2 quotes from dealers and get to compare them all. What's more the Honda Car Prices here at carsblvd.com are the best deals in town. So, what are you waiting for? As for me, i'll definitely ask for free quotations from carsblvd.com ASAP!
I had a fun-filled weekend. Last Saturday, I met up with my friend Lui in Greenbelt 3 to have lunch and stroll at the mall. I took the MRT to go there to save on time. I passed by Glorietta. I don't know but I had this weird feeling when I passed by the Glorietta 2 area (now board-up with white walls). It felt creepy knowing that many people died there. And I can still smell something like sulfur? Basta. It felt creepy passing thru that area. I said prayers for the victims the whole time I was walking by :(
Anyways, we had lunch at Recipes. The food there was great and as expected, both of us left the place with a full stomach, lol. After that we checked out the shops at greenbelt 3 and at the newly-opened Greenbelt 5. Not many stores are open yet but I already like the interiors of this new wing. It looks classy inside and contemporary outside. I'm super excited for the opening of some brands there like Marc Jacobs. I got to visit also Kiehl's! Wohoo!! The store is almost the same as that in Singapore. They carry almost all the products and I think the prices here are much cheaper than in SG. That's what i've noticed lang. I haven't bought any since I still have supplies of kiehl's products I got from my last trip in SG. Maybe in December :)
I left Makati at around 5 PM to meet my husband and my siblings at Trinoma. Lui went to meet her BF naman. We watched the concert of the great Basil Valdez and the world renowned UP Singing Ambassadors at the Trinoma Park. Boy! I tell you these guys are great, great performers! Basil's still got the voice that won the hearts of many filipinos. Though, you can notice the strain already brought by the illness he got years ago I guess. But, it doesn't matter coz the guy still has the charisma. It's a wonderful show all in all. Everybody was in a festive mood and you can feel that christmas is really here! The concert ended with a wonderful fireworks display! It's grand! I love it! It's the perfect ending to a wonderful night! I love Trinoma for coming up with shows like this. And the best part is it's for free! So if you want to have a good time, go catch the other performances every weekend. You'll definitely have a grand time too! Here our some pictures to prove it...

with my bro (who took all the pics, great shots bro!)
Yesterday, Sunday, after hearing mass we spent the day at the mall... wherelse?! And guess what? I got to convince my husband to get his own pair of crocs! Finally! I've been enjoying my mary janes for months now and I have been "making kulit" to him to buy a pair. We bought matching color crocs. I got the prima in chocolate and he got the off-road. Now we have matching crocs perfect for our mall trips he he he.
So, guys how about you? Did you all have a great time? :)

Oh my gosh! I think I would faint if I ever receive one of these orange boxes! Vlad of the Purseblog.com is the proud owner of these boxes from Hermes NYC. They're not revealing yet the contents as they are keeping this as a surprise. Can't wait, can't wait to see this!!! I'll post the contents once these boxes were opened!
Also from purseblog, the Louis Vuitton MOCA Line (Museum of Contemporary art).
It's a neverfull bag with the Murakami print. This is actually the latest collaboration with Takashi Murakami of the famed Cherry Blossom and Multicolore line among others. This was launched at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) where Murakami had an exhibit. Before you think of getting one though, this line is not available in every LV store. In fact, it's a limited edition line rumored to have limited pieces available. The agenda on the otherhand looks cute with the "little mushroom" character named Chibi Kinoko. Isn't the cutest? :) I think it's a nice variation from the plain one. But choosing between the plain Neverfull and Murakami Neverfull, i'll still settle for the former. So, what do you baghags think of the Murakami Neverfull?

They say that a diamond is a girl's best friend. And I agree to that 100 percent!! I've always loved diamonds. I remember when I was young, I would drool over my mom's and my grandma's diamond earrings and rings. Although, they were not that big, in terms of carats and everything, but to me they look as if they were 1 karat studs glistening before my very eyes!! And boy, how I love them!
So, imagine my excitement when my guy proposed to me with a diamond engagement ring. It was beautiful! It wasn't a carat big though but it's perfectly enough for me. What mattered was that I love him and we're going to spend the rest of our lives together. Come our wedding day, he presented me with an equally beautiful diamond ring as our wedding band. It was a perfect match to my engagement ring. I couldn't be more happier!
Aside from the few pieces of jewelries I got from my mom and grandma, I often dream of having the financial capacity to buy more jewelries especially diamonds. You see, with a diamond you can never go wrong. It's also a very wise investment that you can actually use in the future should there be a financial emergency. I read a magazine article recently saying that a jewelry is the new "it" bag. Why is that so? you may ask. The truth is with the right jewelry you'll never worry if it fits you right, or if you got the right color to match an outfit. It's an accessory that doesn't require a "hit and miss" scenario. It's always safe to have it and use it.
So, this early, while i'm still trying to save for a piece, i've started searching for that perfect one to add to my small collection. Good thing i've come across mysolitaire.com. It's a one-stop jewelry shop! From the best designs to the custom-made services they offer, this site is the trusted source for all your jewelry needs. Among my favorites would be the diamond pendants, the black diamond rings (i never knew such thing exists!) and the sapphire rings (which I discovered I truly liked!).
Here are some of my personal favorites ( and I hope to buy someday! Gawd! I need lots of moolah for all of these!!). But for now....drool, drool, drool!!!
a Diamond Bag Pendant - i'm sooo loving this!!
a Black Diamond Ring - this is nice!!
a Yellow Sapphire Ring - i.want.this!!!
So, for your jewelry needs, do check out mysolitaire.com. They offer the finest quality jewelry with authenticity certificate and free gift packaging perfect for your loved ones. What's more, if you feel like having another piece that catches your eye, you can always trade-up your own jewelry & the site will buy it back for you to be able to get that new piece. And the best part is you can get any one of this at interest free payment plans! Wow! what more could we girls ask for! Diamonds truly are a girls best friend!!

A friend of mine recently bought her first car and was too excited to show me around the city as her passenger. She just recently had her driving lessons so you can say that she is practically a beginner. I gladly agreed to her offer for a test drive but suddenly realized that she was just playing tricks on me! She asked me again if i'm willing to be her passenger knowing that she just learned how to drive and that her driving skills are still below average. Worst, she asked if I am insured, lol!
Then, a question suddenly hit me though, wait a minute?! Aside from the accident and life insurances I got from the company I work for, I realized that I don't even have a personal insurance that I can leave to my loved ones if something bad happens to me(God forbid)!!
Good thing there is a site called Advantage Life Insurance that will guide me in choosing the right type of insurance policy that suit my needs. It is a complete one-stop insurance shop wherein you can find all the information you will need in selecting the type of insurance for you and your family. They have information for insurances such as term life, key man or even smoker's insurance if you are a certified smoker.
There are a lot of features in this site that you will be able to thoroughly study your options before buying an insurance policy. You need not worry about asking different insurance companies one by one as this site has an online quoting services that allows you to asked for quotations from different companies affiliated with advantage term life.
One good thing about advantage term life is that it helps you find the right insurance at lower reduce premiums . I know for a fact that insurances cost a lot nowadays that's why not so many people are keen on having one. But that should not be your only consideration as insurances are also your assurance of a better life for your family even if you're no longer around to provide for them. Besides, with the help of advantage term, you can save money on insurance premiums by providing you with the best and lowest insurance quotes from a wide range of reputable insurance companies.
So, the next time my girlfriend would ask me for a ride I will consider it because I know that i'm already secured with the help of advantage term life.

In preparation for another busy year, I have started searching for the perfect planner/diary. You see, I need to jot down all the things I need to accomplish at work and at home, bills I have to pay, monitor my expenses and even my monthly period, lol as I tend be very forgetful. For years now, i've been consistently using starbucks' planner but this year i've decided to check out other brands/type as I was beginning to get bored with their designs. Plus, i've noticed that the discount coupons that they usually insert between the sheets or at the back of the planner were getting fewer every year. In fact, I think this year, there were no discount coupons at all, tsk tsk tsk. Initially, I wanted to get the Moleskine notebook which I saw at FULLY BOOKED BHS last week. The paper is smooth and very nice to write on. Plus I like its sleek design and the idea that it can perfectly fit inside my bag. Inside though, you'll find a typical planner layout without the discount coupons. I'm about to get it but I thought I'd wait a little while since i thought that I might still find something better that i'll "fall in love" with ;)
"the moleskine large weekly planner"
Well what do you know?! Yesterday, as I was surfing the net, I chance upon seeing this beautiful, beautiful planner that I think best represents my personality, lol. Presenting the Belle de Jour Power Planner!!!
Oh my gosh!! I'm so excited about this!! This is the perfect planner for me. First, I love the cover it's super chic! Plus there are lots of discount coupons from different establishments like Bayo, Kashieca, all-flip flops (omg! think about hoarding all the havies there!) and many, many more ( swear, a lot is in store for us girls inside!) And also, most importantly, it has a lot of features you can't find in any planner. I love that it has a menstrual tracker, expenses tracker (very important for impulsive shopper like me, lol), goal planning, a travel planner (for that much deserved vacation) and a birthday list (to keep you reminded of your friends & loved ones' birth dates). I super loooove it!!
I already placed my order online and will pick it up next week. Boy, I can't wait! If you're interested, you can check out there site http://www.belledejourpowerplanner.com to learn more about this wonderful stuff. And oh, it's very affordable and part of the sale proceeds goes to women-related charity. For next year, it would be the "Tahanan ni St. Lucia" - a crisis intervention center for 12-17 abandoned, neglected, or sexually/physically-abused street children. So you see girls, it's not all glamour and stuff. You get to help also in the process. Now, isn't that the sweetest? :)

Now I'm passing this tag to: Abie, Apols, Juliana, Jane, Jacqui & Jody.
I've been tagged by Eds twice! Thanks, thanks!! This is the first one. I surely enjoyed doing this since I love music. I have lots of favorite songs and seven would not be enough but I would'nt want to bore you guys so i'll just stick to the number :)
It's all about the songs that take me down the memory lane.
Crazy for You ( Madonna ) - who would'nt love this song?! I think I was in elementary when this song became a hit. It instantly catches my attention and my heart when I first heard it played in our old casette. I love the tune of this song and later in high school, the lyrics na (nakaka-relate na eh lol).
Moon River ( Henry Mancini ) - This is a favorite of my mom's. I still remember when i was still young, every sunday morning my mom would always tune in to this particular radio station that plays old songs. Everytime Moon River was played, she would sing to her heart's delight. I also found out that it was the theme song of one of my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie, Breakfast at Tiffany's. I super love this song. Call me an old soul but this song really brightens up my mood whenever i hear it. It reminds me so much of my mom who already passed away :( This song will always be special.
Farewell (Raymond Lauchengco) - This song was played during our high school graduation and it really made me cry a lot!! And I regret it coz I looked bad in the pictures ha ha ha Now, I can't even show my high school grad pics to my friends becasue i'm super dyahe to show my eyes all swollen up due to crying, lol. Seriously, this song really hit me hard during that time because I really enjoyed high school and going to manila for college after that was a major turning point in my life and I was super scared that time. Whenever I hear this song, it reminds of my old friends from high school and also old crushes.. uuyyyy :)
One Last Cry (Brian Mc Knight) - oh well, this is a heartache song. This used to be my "comfort" song when I was super dooper infatuated with one of my classmates way back in college. We had an understanding I think but nothing serious. We ended up just friends though as I was not really serious about getting into a relationship at that time since my priorities back then was my studies. It was all good memories na lang :)
Beautiful in my eyes (Joshua Kadison) - a song that I fell in love with in college. I love the lyrics of this song. Kaka-melt ng heart!!!
Love Moves in Mysterious Ways (Julia Fordham) - This was the song that I first sang for my then friend pa lang who later became my boyfriend and husband :) We were just in the "getting to know you" stage and one time on our way to La Salle to attend our Grad School class, this song played over the car radio and I started singing this song for him. Later, I learned that this was the time when my husband felt something for me na. Nabighani sa boses ko! lol
Theme song from Love Affair (Ennio Morricone) - this is the instrumental part in the movie "Love Affair" where katharine Hepburn played the piano and Annette Benning listened and later hummed the song.. Hayy I super love it!! I started learning the piano piece of this song which my mom got from a music shop. This song reminds me also of my mom as she also loved this song very much. That's why, as a tribute to her, I chose this piece as the background music (played by a live string quartet) while we made our marriage vows during our wedding ceremony.
So there you have it. Hope you had fun reading it as much as I enjoyed writing about the songs of my life.
Many have been tagged already so i'm not going to tag anybody. But feel free to grab this if you want to reminisce the good old times through your songs :)

Hi guys! So, i'm off to Laguna tomorrow to pay respect to my beloved mother, lolo & lola. I super dooper missed them all :( This is the time of the year where I get to spend more time to say my prayers for the eternal repose of their souls. It's also a time to reconnect with my family and relatives. I'll be there till Sunday as this will be some sort of a short vacation for me also. Which means, I have to say goodbye for a while to you poeple. I won't be bringing a laptop with me so I'll surely miss blogging. But I promise that I'll blog as soon as I got back. So, hope you guys have a nice long weekend with your loved ones. Happy Halloween and take care!
