Anyways, my weekend was spent...wherelse?!! in the MALL!! I was in Trinoma last saturday and Mall of Asia yesterday, Sunday doing my Christmas shopping. I know it's kind of late now but this is my only time to shop for gifts to my loved ones and friends. I've been super busy with work and extra curricular activities (read: practices) that I was only able to start shopping this weekend lang. I think I did pretty well considering that most on my list have already been crossed-out. There are a few items left in the list (those of my hubby, a brother and my dad) and I intend to finish my shopping hopefully this coming weekend. No chance talaga on weekdays. Plenty of work to do and also, this is the last regular working week. I'm not realy complaining about the long lines in the cashier and gift wrapping section (terrible!! as in!!). The Christmas rush is here na talaga. And i'm loving it!!!!

Christmas is almost here and with that, you can expect a lot of things going on around you. The malls are full packed, gawd! and we experienced this during our recent trip to Trinoma last Sunday. Hubby almost lost his temper over the security guards at the parking area who wouldn't allow us to enter because apparently daw, parking is full. But to our dismay, when we passed by the parking when were about to turn around, we saw two available slots as in! We came back to the entrance and told the guard that there were vacant slots but no, they wouldn't allow us to enter still! WTF?! The line of cars about to enter the carpark are getting long and they wouldn't allow even one car to enter even if there's available parking already?! That pissed off my hubby! Ending, we found a parking slot at the outdoor parking na lang. It's okay na rin considering a lot of shoppers are still stuck inside their car waiting for, who knows when they will be allowed to enter the carpark. Expect the worst in the coming days as more people will troop to the malls, supermarkets and just about every place in the city. Hay! Expect also the heavy traffic! But don't get me wrong ha? I'm not complaining (konti lang, tehee!). This is all part of the Christmas rush and abnormal as it may sound, i'm loving it! Christmas won't be the same without these hassles. And that I think what makes Christmas here in Pinas more exciting :)
Anyways, it will be a busy week for me at work and home. At work, because i'll try to accomplish all my pending work within the week so that by next week medyo lie low na ako and concentrate on our christmas party presentation na lang (which btw, I don't even have a costume yet! help!). A lot of practice sessions were also scheduled in between office hours. Talk about multi-tasking, lol.
At home, because I still haven't started with my christmas shopping yet. As in wala pa akong nabibili kahit isa! except for the 2 gifts i bought for last sunday's "binyagan". Plus, I plan to make something special for Christmas eve and the day itself like bake brownies & cakes, cook pasta or something. I have to plan this pa. Oh gosh! Don't know where to start. All I know is that I better start soon or else... I'll be cramming on christmas eve! And I wouldn't want that to happen. So wish me luck!
P.S. Tomorrow will be our company's annual outreach program. It would be my first time to join and i'm quite excited. We'll be bringing children from an orphanage to Museo Pambata as a treat. I'm so glad our company decided to have it there coz I haven't seen the place yet. I've always wanted to reach out to our less fortunate brothers & sisters and this is one of the best ways to do it. I'll be posting more about this in the coming days.

I've wanted to be with PPP since the first day I learned about it from my blog buddies. At first, I wasn't sure how it works and why a lot of bloggers wished to be approved by PPP. After doing my own research about the site and with the help of my fellow bloggers, I got interested and got hooked. I've been hearing stories about how my blogging friends are doing with paid blogging and was impressed with what they are earning! Wow! I haven't thought about the idea of being paid for doing the things that you love like blogging. It's always nice to have some extras and PPP is one great way of having it. Get paid to blog and you'll definitely get hook. With my approval, i'm pretty sure that I'll be glued to my laptop and start waiting for every available oppurtunities for me. I'm so excited I can't wait to get started.
There are a lot of paid blogging site in the net but nothing really beats Payperpost. I hope that with PPP, i'll be able to save enough for that designer bag i've been eyeing for months now or take a short out of the country trip early next year. I'm so glad PPP is here to help me achieve these plans. Thanks PPP for always providing oppurtunities not just for bloggers but also for advertisers by providing online brand building and traffic generation.

Anyways, after that, some of us went to Metrowalk to grab a snack since we're quite hungry na. There's going to be a party later on in Metrowalk so we decided to leave na rin after having coffee in Starbucks since te place would be crowded in a little while. My officemate dropped me off Shangri-la Mall since i'll be meeting my hubby there to buy some gifts for my friend Joy's baby boy who will be baptized this sunday. I also plan to buy a christmas gift na rin for Joy's eldest who happens to be my "inaanak". I went to Rustan's and as expected it's jampacked with shoppers na rin! I've always enjoyed shopping in Rustan's. I love their service and the free gift wrapping services they provide to their clients. The downside to this lang is the long line at every gift wrapping counter. As in you they are supperrr long!! if you want your gift to be gift wrapped by them, there's a chance that you'll get your wrapped gift the following day na! I swear! For the two items that I bought (one has very big box!), I ask the sales assitant to have it wrapped for me pa rin kasi they'll be open till midnight so I hoped that my items will still be accomodated even if I have to wait that long. Well, I was wrong! The SA came back with only one gift wrapped since it was only placed inside the paper bag (my gift for the baby) and unfortunately, for my inaanak's gift (which has the big bos), they said that i'll be able to get it by tomorrow na. Hello?! I need it na by that time. So I just asked for the wrappers, ribbons and tags and told them i'll wrapped it myself even if I don't have any idea how am I going to do it, tehee. We just had dinner afterwards and went home na rin as I have to figure out pa how am I going to wrapped this big box he he he..
Went I got home, I started immediately and it wasn't that bad pala after all. Actually, gift wrapping is something that I look forward to every christmas. I enjoyed doing it a lot that I remember one time, I planned on putting up a gift wrapping business. I might consider it din in the future. I just have to keep my fingers crossed he he he. Anyways, here is my finish product. What do you think? Can I pass na ba? :)

In connection with my previous post regarding common mistakes in blogging, I learned through petra's that you can actually check the readability of your blog. Meaning, you will know what level of education is required to understand your blog. So, I checked it out and got this result.....
I think this is not bad na rin considering that I try to make my post as light and entertaining as possible with no difficult english to understand. I like it that way. Besides, i'm not much of a writer and my main goal lang naman in maintaining this blog is to have an outlet for myself and share with you guys the simple joys of my everyday life :)
Thanks to petra dear for this info!
